Launch Announcement

Based out of the University of Alberta, ALI is a multi-disciplinary institute that will work to support more informed land-use decisions by providing information that considers environment, economic and social objectives as well as the impacts and potential trade-offs on the land base.

It will accomplish this goal by conducting world-class research to develop, evaluate and promote innovative land policies, including exploring a variety of policy, regulatory and market instruments that will consider and evaluate environmental, social and economic outcomes.
